BT Open Source Day

*Jeremy Ruston spoke on how to start up an open source project
several groups from British Telecom also demonstrated how they are using open source programs
*Osmosoft had a stand where they mainly demonstrated TW

it could possibly be a forum collaboration tool as well
uses a SR backend as opposed to RSS
I believe Jonathan was able to get it to work on the OLTC (One Laptop per Child) project

*(Eric) - I had the opportunity to work with an OLTC laptop for a few days and found that TW works reasonably well on it

it's Linux underneath
a few rough edges around getting permissions, but once the right user name is set up it works well
can't do embedded media
Will write a 'How To" guide on how to get a TW working an OLTC laptop (as suggested by Saq)
